We recieved the following an hour ago from Appointment.com - our online Calendar System hosts;

"Dear Valued Customers, We regret to inform you that our email service provider was recently compromised, and addressing this issue will require extensive work over the coming months.

As we understand the critical importance of email functionality to your business, we recommend transitioning to another email provider to ensure minimal disruption to your operations. While it pains us to make this recommendation, we believe it is the best course of action given the circumstances."

This is a major obstacle for us!
1. No new Registrations will be possible as the registrant will never get a Registration Confirmation Email with their password! We don't have access to their passwords, so we can't help them login.🫤

2. Existing Customers that reserve online will never recieve their Reservation Confirmation Emails!
We can watch for those to occur manually, and forward our copy, but that a lot of extra effort and much confusion will ensue. 🫤
💥💥For this reason, we're forced to shut down the online Booking system within the 2 month window. Our regrets...

3. Most reservations are occurring as Custom Reservation Requests, (2 months plus 2 weeks window) - made possible with the manually created Calendar Preview. We will be aware of every one as it's happening, so it will be possible, but onerous, to manually create & email a facsimile of their Reservation Confirmation Email in a timely fashion. 🫣

4. The Reservation Reminder Emails that are automatically sent 6 days prior to arrival will no longer occur! Firewood lock combinations particularly are a crucial part of the Reminders, as well as many other helpful suggestions and weblinks. Again a manual facsimile of the Reminder will have to be generated and sent. 🫣

Please bear with us as this Appointment.com fiasco is completely beyond our control. It will take extra effort by all parties to get thru this busy winter season, frustrations are inevitable we expect at this early point.

Reservation Date and Hut changes are available up to 1 week before arrival for a $40 additional fee, subject to availability, to a maximum of 2months + 2 weeks from the date of request to change.

PRICES - Winter 2024/25 Season:
Jumbo Hut: $120/night
Kingsbury Hut: $90/night
McMurdo Hut: $90/night
Dave White Hut: $70/night
Olive Hut: $60/night

Summer 2024 Season:
Jumbo Hut: $120/night
Kingsbury Hut: $70/night
McMurdo Hut: $70/night
Other Huts: $60/night
These fees are the total for the WHOLE Hut, NOT per bed, whole Hut bookings only.
Our booking payments use the PAYPAL system, you need an account to book our Huts. No exceptions. Be SURE to select the "Pay Here" button when it appears to process your payment, or the booking will be held, but auto cancel 24 hours later! Have your credit or debit card handy.

Select the hut from the menu to see its availability, or to see all Huts, just select GO. To switch Huts, use the "Home" button.
Bookings are only accepted by the system between 4 days and 2 calendar months from now.
*NOTE: A custom booking with additional fee may be possible on short notice (less than 4 days), subject to our availability to process it manually.

~Additional 2 weeks in advance - Custom Bookings~
!THIS is realistically the only way to book Jumbo Hut during the very popular hiking and ski touring seasons, its that competitive now.
Custom bookings up to 2 calendar months + 2 calendar weeks in advance are available for a flat additional fee of $40 per reservation, non-refundable.
For Example: Today's date is September 3rd + 2 months = November 3rd + 14 days = November 17th arrival date.
Reservations open @ 12:00:00 am Mountain Time Zone. Often desirable dates go in the first few seconds, it's that competitive now! If the email doesn't have the correct date stamp, its disqualified.
1. You must be a registered user, new users must register online here first.
2. Contact us at [email protected] USING your REGISTERED EMAIL address and NAME, no earlier than 2 calendar months + 2 calendar weeks in advance with;
-Arrival date (no more than 2 calendar months + 2 weeks in advance) We will ignore early requests.
-Hut desired and number of nights stay.
3. You will receive a reply if your dates are not available. Otherwise a confirmation email will arrive in 1 or 2 days, followed shortly by a Paypal invoice. Please pay the invoice promptly within a few hours to avoid automatic cancellation by the reservation system for non-payment. Please monitor your email for the invoice and pay promptly to make this workable for us!
4. The cancellation policy remains the same; 30 days prior to arrival for an 80% refund of the basic fee only.
5. Date changes are available up to 1 week prior to arrival for an additional $40 change fee, non-refundable.
